Menu 2018: April 29-May 26

The weather here in the frozen tundra of the midwest is finally warming up and we are enjoying soaking up some sun in the yard when school is done for the day. Warmer temperatures and sunshine lend themselves to meals on the deck at our house so I will start to make more "picnic" foods for supper.
I am also back to attempting a 4 week menu plan as the weeks get quite busy. Here is what I've come up with for meals.
April 29-May 5
  • Subs, veggies and dip, and apple slices
  • Roast chicken, baked potatoes, mixed vegetables
  • Chicken fried rice
  • Chef salad and mini cheesecakes
  • Brats, green beans, and cheesy hashbrown casserole
May 6-12
  • Chicken spirals over polenta with broccoli
  • Bacon cheeseburgers, broccoli, and side salad
  • Chicken tetrazzini and peas
  • Chili dogs, mac'n'cheese, and green beans
  • Southwest chicken salad and fresh bread
  • Omelettes and American fries
May 13-19: Happy Mother's Day!
  • Steak, baked potatoes, broccoli, and fresh bread 
  • Buttermilk chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, and garden salad
  • Sous vide egg bites, venison chops, and biscuits
  • Venison roast, mashed potatoes, and broccoli
  • Berry almond salad with chicken
  • Cincinnati Chili and mixed veggies
  • Burgers and dogs, baked beans, and veggies with dip
May 20-26
  • Carne asada, beans, and rice
  • Brewer Game
  • Chicken and rice casserole
  • Smoked sausage and vegetables over quinoa
  • Spaghetti and meatballs, broccoli, side salad, and bread
  • Swai Vera Cruz and wild rice
