Menu 2019: December 30-January 26


Since my last post, God has given us clear direction as to the where we are to go. My husband has been offered a job at a church on the other side of the state and he starts work on the 3rd. We are still working through all the logistics of commuting till we find a house. I would greatly appreciate your prayers as we transition to this new ministry over the next several months.
In the meantime, here is my proposed menu for January. I am trying to work off what we currently have in the fridge, freezer, and cupboards so a few of them might be a little out of the ordinary. :D
December 30-January 5
  • Lasagna, garlic bread, and a side salad 
  • Pizza, fresh veggies, and taco dip with sous vide cheesecakes for dessert 
  • Chili and corn casserole 
  • Venison roast, corn, mashed potatoes, and a side salad 
  • Venison stew and biscuits 
January 6-12
  • Lasagna, garlic bread, and a side salad 
  • Chicken noodle soup and rolls 
  • Tacos with black beans and rice 
  • Happy Birthday to our oldest kiddo - BBQ ribs, baked potatoes, and steamed broccoli (or roasted Brussels sprouts) 
  • Beef stir fry over rice 
January 13-19
  • Spaghetti and meatballs, veggies, French bread, and salad 
  • Beef and barley soup 
  • Red beans and rice 
  • White chicken chili and sourdough bread 
  • Pinchos and arroz con gandules
January 20-26
  • Beef stroganoff, veggies, and rolls 
  • Meatloaf, potatoes, veggie, and salad 
  • Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and desserts 
  • Enchiladas and rice 
  • Creamy turkey and wild rice soup
